Chief Executive Officer of Serene Publishers and Distributors, Umashanker Yadav is a genius entrepreneur and a visionary leader. He founded prestigious Ahmedabad International Literature Festival in 2016 which is successfully running into its 9th edition. The festival has provided platform to thousands of authors and literature lovers to express their views and creativity. He is the Managing Trustee of Ikon Education Foundation and Managing Director of Ikon Barcode Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Umashanker Yadav also established a manufacturing unit for self-adhesive printed and blank labels in Changodar Industrial area of Ahmedabad.
His English poetry book ‘Beyond Dreamz’ published in 2015 was highly appreciated by the readers. He has edited and published the books (anthology of poems) Lifenama, Essence of emotions and Kuchh Panne Dil Se published by Serene Publishers. Umashanker Yadva has done his Master of Arts (MA- English) from Jay Narayan Vyas University Jodhpur, Master of Business Administration (MBA- Marketing) and PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communications from IGNOU. He has served the Indian Air Force as well for 15 years from 1985 to 2001. His weekly talk show ‘Exploring the Unexplored with Umashanker Yadav’ on YouTube with eminent personalities in 2023 was highly appreciated by viewers.
